Italy is out of the project - changing our schedual

Unfortunately our friends at I.C. Baccano school in Rome are no longer a partner in our project.

We're sorry they couldn't stay with us, and we wish them all the very best!

This means we have to change our mobility plan. Spain will welcome us all in October 2011, and France will have a second mobility in March 2012.

Mystery # 3 - about country

Czech Mystery

The length of this river is 430 km.

Its spring is in the Šumava Mountains.

It flows through our capital Prague.

It’s one of the two biggest rivers in the Czech Republic.
The famous composer Bedřich Smetana named one of his symphonies after this river.

It is the opening symphony of the Prague Spring Musical Festival.

What is the name of the river?

A memorial mobility in France - Oktober 2010

Our French friends have made a beautiful and memory-provoking picture story from our visit to them in Chenove, Dijon. We can not help but yearn to return!

The presentation was made when Catherine (our coordinator) went to visit our Italien friends two weeks ago. That gets us to thinking about our next trip and gathering, which takes place in Mnichovice, Praque.

G.U.E.S.S what, we just can't wait to see you all again - and especially to meet our Italien friends for the very first time!

Solutions from the French pupils on our town mysteries

Here is the French answer to the Norwegian mystery:

We have worked on your mystery and we think:

We believe it is a Glacier because people must have special equipment.
If it were  a simple mountain, there would be no special equipment.
We think the Buerbreen Glacier is near Odda and Tyssedal.
Maybe the Buerbreen Glacier is important for Tyssedal because  tourists visit the glacier so there are more people in the city.
The highest point of Buerbreen glacier is 1640 Meters.
The activities at Buerbreen :
1. Tourists are able to camp
2. Tourists are able to go trekking

And a great video for the solution of the Czech mystery:

The Norwegian pupils have solved the mysteries about town, too

And here are our documents about the Spanish mystery - our words are marked yellow:

The Czech pupils have solved the mysteries

Here are the suggestions from the Czech pupils for the town mysteries made by Spain, Norway and France:

Where is the Buarbreen glacier?

The pupil from France have found that the answer to the Norwegian town mystery is Buarbreen glacier. To show us the answer they've used Google Earth to create a tour. This tour is saved as a KMZ-file, and can only ble viewed in the program Google Earth.
So, to show you all on our blog, we had to record the tour - and here it is:

Below is the Norwegian solution (made in Google Maps) - as you can see; the French pupils almost pointed out exactly the same spot.
